Hehehe for today's ASSERTIVENESS lesson, we kind of did role playing. We were supposed to start a conflict but have it turn out in 2 ways. The same time we just argue like crazy and use all the dirty techniques like insult/hurt/criticize each other when you are angry then second round, one party will be assertive and not let anger control the situation and resolve the conflict!

HAHAHA IT WAS SO FUNNY. In Serene's opinion, our class was the LOUSIEST at conflict and assertiveness! We couldn't bring ourselves to yell at each other or got the whole thing wrong or just kept bursting out in laughter. Then Eugene and Alan kept saying they really couldn't do it.

Hah we were given one long list of conflict starters and we could choose anything we want.

XH and I picked the "WHERE IS MY CHILLI?! IS THERE NO CHILLI IN THE HOUSE?"

But when we went up and I started "yelling," XH's face went red and she didn't reply me! It felt so lame yelling with nobody replying and we started giggling.

So Serene was all, "Why can't you all scold each other?!!!"

And she said nvm and let XH go back then sat opposite ME!

Me: "O.O YOU WANT TO QUARREL WITH ME?!!!"

HAHAHAH IT WAS SO FUNNY.

Then we went to next situation.. assertiveness. I was still supposed to be angry while Serene tried to resolve the issue. But I relented to the situation too fast. :x I always knew I sucked at assertiveness!

And she told us all sorts of conflicts that occur in the media industry.. about very prominent people also.

Rest of the day was fun!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Until something happened at night and on my way home. Roars.

I was kinda jittery at first and I DON'T KNOW WHY but suddenly it just felt alright as I talked, I didn't forget a single thing, looked at everyone including Ms Cordelia, didn't falter even when I thought her expression was scary. Plus my voice wasn't shaky!!


And I know it went alright because at the end of the lesson, Ms Delyse said she was impressed, saying we've marked improvement... especially in pronunciation and enunciation AND SHE LOOKED AT ME AND SMILED!!!
